From R&D interns to R&D engineers, Mehdi and Baptiste’s journey at WedoLow.
- After a 6-month internship, Mehdi and Baptiste were hired as R&D engineers, each with their own area of expertise. Here’s a look back at their journeys!
Since the early days of WedoLow, we’ve been committed to reaching the engineers and developers of tomorrow and raising their awareness of optimization. This commitment leads us to build a better future for digital technology together.
Because the world of tomorrow cannot exist without eco-design, we need to raise their awareness from the outset to increase their impact. Our role is to make them aware of their responsibilities so that they can lead by example in their use of digital technology and, in turn, educate tomorrow’s engineers by guiding them in the design choices they make for their systems.
With this in mind, Mehdi and Baptiste were hired as R&D interns at the beginning of 2023. 6 months after graduation, the adventure continues with a permanent contract for our two R&D engineers.
Mehdi joined the team in March 2023 to validate his Master’s degree in Embedded Systems from the University of Rennes 1, which he passed with flying colors.
His immersion at WedoLow allowed him to work on the product and our services, as well as on other topics such as the characterization of the energy consumption of electronic boards.
His ability to work and his curiosity, which allowed him to work on a wide range of topics, strengthened our desire to see him stay with the company. We’re happy that he will continue the WedoLow adventure with a permanent contract.
Baptiste was first introduced to WedoLow by Justine Bonnot at ISIMA Clermont-Ferrand last year. As patron of the “Interactive Systems for Embedded, Robotics and Virtual Computing” class, Justine came to present her project.
Baptiste has just finished his 6-month internship at WedoLow. It was a very rewarding experience that allowed him to work mainly on fixed-point.
His professionalism and commitment confirmed our desire to see him continue his adventure with the team. An adventure that he will continue by writing a thesis. Work is underway to define his topic, which will be on the fixed point.
These two hires confirm our commitment to supporting final year engineering students and our ability to attract them with a meaningful project.
